Under the patronage of Prime Minister Mr. Mohammed Salem Basendwah, and with the support of MTN Yemen, under the slogan "Youth Business ... builds the economy of tomorrow", a committee of young entrepreneurs was organized with the Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Yemen in collaboration with the private sector GIZ. The first conference for young entrepreneurs was held on 2 December 2012 in the capital, Sanaa.

The conference was attended by Dr / Mohammed Saadi, Minister of Planning and International Cooperation, and the President of the General Union of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Yemen Mr. / Mohammed Abdo Saeed, who in turn thanked the sponsors of the conference that was led by MTN Yemen.

The event was also attended by a number of young and interested entrepreneurs, who have discussed a number of working papers presented at the conference and then they came up with some recommendations.

 In conclusion, the Chairman of the Committee of young entrepreneurs gave MTN Yemen an honorary shield in recognition of the outstanding sponsorship of this conference.
