Press Association honors 70 journalists

Yemeni Press Day

YJS honored seventy journalists of the pioneers and founders of journalism in Yemen, the martyrs and the wounded through peaceful youth revolution of Yemen 2011, in recognition of their journalistic and creative efforts in the service of truth and free speech.

The ceremony was attended by:

Director of the Office of the Presidency of the Republic Nasr Taha Mustafa, Minister of Information and Journalists Syndicate Yasin al-Masoudi, Senior Manager of Public Relations and Media in MTN Yemen Malek Al-Koussa, a large number of journalists and their families and Yemeni media men.

At the end of the ceremony, an honorary shield was given to the company for its role and great effort to embrace the issues of journalists and for its support of projects undertaken by the union.
