MTN Yemen Sponsors first Plastic Arts Exhibition On the occasion of the International Women’s Day

On the occasion of the International Women’s Day, MTN Yemen sponsored the first plastic arts exhibition for the “Forum of Contemporary Female Plastic Artists” that was organized by the Jameel Ghanem Fine Arts Institute - Aden. The event was attended by Aden’s governor and the Russian consul to Yemen, Chamil Otoyov. Five female artists exhibited various collections of paintings.

During the opening ceremony, Aden’s governor, Professor Naif Al-Bakri praised MTN’s efforts in sponsoring the exhibition and contributing towards the empowerment of women. In his turn, Professor Sahl Bin Ishaq, Director of Jameel Ghanem Fine Arts Institute, expressed his gratitude and appreciation for MTN for sponsoring this event. Bin Ishaq also highlighted MTN’s support for the institute in the past year, especially through the renovation and redecoration of the institute’s library.

Following a tour of the exhibition, Aden’s governor, Professor Naif Al-Bakri, along with the Russian consul and Professor Sahl Bin Ishaq, honored MTN Yemen through its representative, Mr. Naim Maneh as well as the five artists.
