MTN honors the winners of the best " youth initiatives " competition

At the Movenpick Hotel on Thursday, March 6, 2014, MTN Yemen hosted  the honoring ceremony for the winners of " the best youth initiatives " competition, hosted and organized by the company on its social media Facebook page ( FB ) .

On the government side, the minister of Youth and Sports, Mr. Muammar Al-Iryani , and the Minister of Technical Education and Training

Dr Abdalhafez Noman pointed words through which the importance of the role of youth in building the society , and the importance of support and encouragement in order to extract the talents and creations , thankful at the same time , MTN which had a the lead in supporting and encouraging young people in the activities of many similar , calling for all private sector companies to join

MTN initiative supporting and motivating for young people to perform their national role as required.

During the ceremony Prof. Ali Abdel Wareth, Deputy CEO of MTN Yemen, emphasized on the efforts of the ompany to encourage voluntary work and continuing support for young people as the future and present mainstay pillars,

poinying out on the establishment of MTN for this competition , at the same explaining the stages through which initiatives and youth organizations went through in order to participate in the contest of "The best youth initiatives". After this, the winners' announcement took place:

First winner : the " Chabab Wa'i " Ibb - Sana'a , has won a prize of $ 2,500,000 rials.

The second winner : Organization " Youth is our vision ," Taiz , has won a prize of $ 1,500,000 rials.

The third winner : Association " Youth in favor " of Ibb , has won a prize of $ 1,000,000 rials.

The ceremony was attended by Mr. Ali Abdullah Saleh , Undersecretary of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor , Mr. Najeebeh Haddad , Advisor to the Minister of Culture for Children, Mr. Baabbad Nour , a member of the High Authority to Fight Corruption , director of the community sector in the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor , and Mr. Abdul Rahman al-Hassani ,Undersecretary of the Ministry of Youth and Sports .
