Application Guide line
A subscriber can participate in Millionaire Competition by one / both of the two below methods:
The more points the use accumulates, the more chances to win in the draw.
To enter the daily draw and activate the points you get due to daily renewal subscription, please answer as least one question daily by sending the letter of the correct answer (A or B) to 5440 for free. He will get 20 points for the daily subscription renewal. If the subscriber answers correctly, that subscriber will award 20 point. If the subscriber answers wrongly, no point will be awarded.
For the monthly draw, please answer at least one question monthly. For the grand prize draw, please answer at least one question during three months

This Competition is organized by Mobile Telephone Networks (Proprietary) Limited (“MTNYemen”) and GU Mobile Digital Services FZ-LLC (the “Promoter/s”). MTN Yemen customers who subscribe or participate to the MegaWin service will stand a chance to win Prizes by renewing their daily subscription or playing on the premium quiz MegaWin game (the “Competition”).
Prizes:
The Competition commences on the 16th of May 2021 and will continue until the 22nd of August 2021.
3.1 To be eligible to enter, the entrant must:
3.1.1 be an MTN subscriber (Pre-Paid / Postpaid);
3.1.2 participate in the trivia game, daily subscription service or both as detailed below.
3.2 Participation in this Competition excludes Competition’s organizers and their subordinates.
3.3 Winners are only entitled to win 1 (one) Prize per category each.
4.1 During the Competition Period, the entrants that meet all the criteria referred to in clause 3 above must do the following in order to stand a chance to win:
4.1.1 MTN Subscribers must register to the MegaWin subscription service by sending “3” to 1440 (for YER30 / day. The first day is free of charge for the first subscription only) or by sending “4” to 1440 (for YER120 / week. The first day is free for the first subscription only) or dial the USSD code *133# or join via the promotion’s website Millionaire.mtn.com.ye.
4.1.2 By joining the MegaWin subscription service, subscribers will receive points, daily SMS content of “Did you know” facts and access to a free quiz game accessible via the website Millionaire.mtn.com.ye.
4.1.3 The MegaWin subscription service is free for the first day for the first subscription only. Afterwards, the service cost is YER30/day & YER 120/week.
4.1.4 Subscribers may also join the Premium Quiz Game by sending “OK” to 1440 for YER120 / SMS and answer the premium questions to increase their chances for the draws.
4.2 Entry by intelligent devices (e.g. modems, telemetry devices and the like) or machines shall not be permitted for entry and will not be eligible for Prizes.
4.3.1 MTN customers are prompted to join a premium rated SMS campaign by sending “OK” to 5440 for YER100 / SMS sent to increase their chances for the draws.
4.3.2 Upon registration via SMS, the end user will receive a welcome message, followed by the first question of the Premium Quiz game.
4.3.3 The subscriber may answer by SMS by sending 1 / 2 to 5440 for YER 100 / SMS.
4.3.4 In addition, MTN subscribers may subscribe to the daily subscription service either by sending “3” to 5440 or by dialing the USSD code *133# or via competition’s website (millionaire.mtn.com.ye). The daily subscription is for YER30 / day. The first day is for free for the first subscription only. The subscriber will get two question daily to answer them for free. The subscriber will receive daily SMS content of “Did you know” facts.
4.3.5 Premium Quiz game points: by registering to the Premium Quiz game, the participant receives 20 points. Each correct answer awards at least 20 points. Each wrong answer awards 10 points.
4.3.6 Daily subscription service points: by joining daily subscription service for YER30, the subscriber receives 20 points. For daily subscription renewal for YER30, subscriber awards 20 points. The subscriber gets two questions daily. If the subscriber answers correctly, that subscriber will award 20 point. If the subscriber answers wrongly, no point will be awarded.
4.3.7 Subscribers for the Daily, Monthly and Grand Prize draws will receive entries based on points accumulated. A subscriber’s opportunity to enter draws increases as long as that subscriber increases his / her points.
4.3.8 To enter draw and to activate points in Daily subscription service;
To enter the daily draw and activate the points you get due to daily renewal subscription, please answer as least one question daily. For the monthly draw, please answer at least one question monthly. For the grand prize draw, please answer at least one question during three months.

4.3.9 To enter draw in Premium Quiz game:
For daily draw: please answer at least one question daily.
For monthly draw: please answer at least one question monthly.

4.4.1 For information regarding the service the customer may text “HELP” to 5440 for free.
4.4.2 For canceling the subscription to the service, the subscriber may text “03” to 5440 for free.
4.4.3 For stopping receiving informational messages from Millionaires Premium Quiz Game the participant may send “Exit” to 5440 for free.
4.4.4 For stopping receiving informational messages from MegaWin Premium Quiz Game the participant may send “Exit” to 1440 for free.
4.4.5 Subscribers can opt in/out of the promotion as they wish. Accumulated points will not be lost if a subscriber opts out. Should a subscriber opt in again, they will reclaim their original points balance in full.
4.5 Once the qualifying entrant has fulfilled the requirements of clauses 3, 4.1, 4.2. & 4.3 above, he or she will be automatically entered into the lucky draw.
4.6 The lucky draws shall take place as follows:
4.6.1 Daily prize periods for the YER45,000 are defined as starting from 00:00:00 every day and ending at 23:59:59 of that day.
4.6.2 The first daily prize period for the YER45,000 will start at Monday 22nd of February 2021 00:00:00 and will end on Tuesday 11th of May 2021 23:59:59.
4.6.3 Weekly prize periods for the YER100,000 will starting from 00:00:00 every Friday and will end at 23:59:59 of the next Thursday.

4.7 Where the daily draw dates coincide with the monthly / the grand prize draw dates, only monthly / grand prizes will be given away and no daily prizes.

4.9 Winners will be notified telephonically through the number 1000000. Winners’ names will be announced on MTN’s SMS, banners and / or social media.
5.1 Entrants that fulfil the requirements stated in clause 3, 4.1, 4.2 & 4.3 above, stand a chance to win:

5.2 The Prize shall be deposited by Competition’s organizers to specific exchange centres, through which the winners will be able to withdraw their money. Prizes may be received by a representative of the winner by proxy only upon duly signed and authenticated issued by the court.
5.3 The Competition’s organizers reserve the right to give away Extra Prizes (also referred to as Surprise Prizes) at ad-hoc intervals. Such Extra Prizes shall be communicated to the eligible participants through the use of daily teasers and the Competition’s official website and may vary in nature and frequency at the Competition’s organizers’ discretion. Eligible for those prizes will be all the participants who will have received at least 1 (one) point on the corresponding time period. Winner selection shall be draw based and the eligible participants will enter the corresponding draw with the total points they have accumulated until the draw day.
6.1 In so far as it is necessary, required by law or beyond the reasonable control of the Competition’s organizers, the Competition’s organizers reserve the right to vary the nature of the Competition, the Prize, or these terms and conditions upon notice in this regard being published on (mtn.com.ye) or in another appropriate medium. In the event that the Prize is limited or varied in this manner, the Competition’s organizers shall replace the Prize with a prize of a similar economic value.
6.2 With regard to clause 6.1 above, any amended terms and conditions published in any media, or on the MTN website (mtn.com.ye will form part of the terms and conditions of the Competition, to which terms the entrants agree to be bound.
6.3 Winners shall only be contacted on weekdays (Sunday – Thursday) during working hours (8:00 – 15:00), with public holidays and weekends excluded.
6.4 MTN Yemen attempts to contact the winner for a period of two working days after his or her name is drawn as a winner. In the event that the winner is uncontactable (during the time frames stipulated in this clause 6.5) or in the event that the winner rejects, or declines acceptance of the Prize, the Prize shall be offered to another winner eligible and contactable.
6.5 The Prize is monetary, not transferable, is not exchangeable for another prize and cannot be sold. In the case of non-cash Extra Prizes (e.g. handsets, electronics) and for convenience and speed of prize fulfilment, winners may choose to receive the cash value of the non cash prize they have won – a cash value which shall be exclusively defined by the MTN Yemen based on the going market rates of the corresponding prize item at the time of prize delivery.
6.6 The Competition’s organizers reserve the right to withhold the Prize until it is entirely satisfied that the claimant of the Prize is the bona fide winner and reserves the right to call for such proof as it may deem necessary.
6.7 By entering this Competition, entrants signify their consent to be bound by the terms and conditions contained herein.
6.8 Winners shall be required to sign an appropriate acknowledgement of receipt of the Prize as the case maybe.
